Dr. Amardeep Pathak is one of the few Transfusion Medicine (MD, DNB) specialists in India, with special interest in apheresis, Immunohaematology (IHL) & Component separation techniques. He is having 05 years of experience in Transfusion Medicine.

He always focus on advanced techniques in transfusion medicine such as automation in IHL lab, automation in NAT lab, automation in component separation & therapeutic apheresis procedures [Peripheral Blood Stem cell Collection (PBSC), granulocytes collection & plasma exchange (TPE)].

He has started partial mapping/extended phenotype matching of donor’s & patient’s blood for transfusion to prevent alloimmunization & has also started lab side leucodepletion of PRBC to prevent transfusion reactions & HLA alloimmunization.
